G Project 11

It's done!
Only for the bodyworks =D
Satisfied with the result, although it's not cheap :(

G Project 10

It's almost done.
Ordered the interior things and some finishing material.
Still have to wax the paint.
And maybe crank the torsion bar a little bit, to get the body level.

Old UBS : 1985 LWB UBS52

Here's my father's 1985 LWB UBS52. He bought it in 1990 from his friend only for 1.400 USD.
At first it was  green color, but later in around 1998 he painted with nice blue color.
We use it to go to Malang once in 1992, and sadly on the second attemp on the next year it brokes because of oil pump failure.
I really loves the car at that time. Ever try to remove the dashboard only to watch what's going on under it. Makes my own door trims with bad result. Put the radio-cassette inside the glovebox etc.
To bad my father had to sold it in 2001, right when I'm entering 2nd year in college.
Here's some pictures taken couple weeks before we decided to sold it.  Me and my best friends go to some empty spaces in a real estate and took some pictures.

I haven't joined Komunitas Trooper Indonesia at that time. But I already know some good information from internet. My favourite site is Isuzu Trooper Owner's Guild and a Germany Trooper site.
Tires is 235/70R15 Goodyear Wrangler, I failed to push my father to buy bigger tires. Haven't done any radical modification on that UBS, although I really wanted to do it.

Hi-Roof Project : For Jakarta

Jakarta was hit by big flood last week. And my Trooper gives a little help with other 4x4s from Indonesian OffRoad Federation. It brings some food supply for the victims.

I'm glad that it can go through that water, although still suffering an electrical problem.

Many of my friends who have 4wd are on the road to give helps. Including this SWB SAS'd Trooper owned by my friend who worked for national TV station.

G Project 08

Finished with body plate, now it's time to paint.
The bodyshop still have to apply thin layer of bondo, prime paint and then the paint.

We use Silverstone color, that's the exact color for Honda Jazz, and that's what the owner wanted. I give him a selection just before we bought the pant. White, standard silver just like previous color or silverstone.

Here's the paint result. I'm quite happy with it.
